Professor I. P. Stavroulakis was recently awarded the title of Professor Emeritus. To commemorate it and to recognize his great contribution to the area of Differential and Difference Equations, a special issue of the Journal dedicated to him will be published.
Topics of interest to the special issue include but are not limited to:
· difference-differential equations
· dynamic equations on time-scale
· q-difference equations
· complex dynamics
· stability theory
· boundary value problems
· symmetries and integrable systems
Articles that deal with the applications of difference equations or discrete dynamical systems to any scientific discipline, including but not limited to, various disciplines of mathematical biology, evolutionary game theory, economics, physics, and engineering are also of interest to this special issue.
